To find out more visit our website at **[www.msssecurity.com.au](http://www.msssecurity.com.au/).** **About the role** ​MSS Security is seeking Casual Security Officers to join our Hobart team and service our high-profile government clients. **Duties include but are not limited to:** * Provide a professional, courteous and helpful point of contact for staff and visitors, assisting with general inquiries and directions. * Respond appropriately and promptly to incidents, emergencies, or security breaches, ensuring the safety of all personnel and visitors. * Monitor and control access points to the building, ensuring only authorised personnel are granted entry. * Work collaboratively as part of a team to maintain high-security standards and resolve any issues that arise. **Ideal candidates will have:** * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deescalate tense situations. * A readiness, confidence and assertiveness to manage challenging situations. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team. **Requirements:** * Full Australian working rights. * Valid Tasmanian Security licence. * Valid First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain). * Working With Vulnerable People (or willing to obtain). **Master Licence Number:** 5784 **How to apply** ---------------- MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.
