Category Buyer - IT & Communications

Responsible for managing sub-categories and suppliers which entails conducting sourcing activities, running Rfx’s and managing suppliers for Indirect IT Categories (enterprise and business apps, SaaS/IaaS, network infrastructure, hardware and IT professional services) **We offer:** ============= * Support the development and implementation of the category strategy and align the supplier portfolio together with the Category Lead. * Conduct market analyses and Rfx’s in line with business requirements as identified with the stakeholder. * Conduct negotiations with suppliers in terms of delivery, quality and price. Manage and develop the supply base, to achieve our targets in delivery, quality, cost and innovation. * Maintain and develop relationships with strategic suppliers including contract management (NDA’s, Long Term- / Supply Contracts etc). * Monitor and manage influences on performance and achievements on the Procurement’s KPIs, in line with local requirements and rules. * Support in regional and global Indirect Procurement initiatives. **Tasks and Qualifications:** ============================= * Bachelor’s Degree ideally in IT, Supply Chain Management, or Business; * Preferred 5 years of experience at a minimum in IT Procurement. * Indirect category management experience - strong understanding of IT and software business and procurement concepts, including software licensing, cloud architecture, IT labor SOWs, and software-as-a-service * Contract management skills; including a working understanding of contractual terms and conditions and risk mitigation * Knowledge and strong utilization of Microsoft applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. * Ability to communicate and collaborate with peers and management * Must be willing to travel to suppliers and/or other Dematic locations as needed up to 10%. * Demonstrated values of collaboration, integrity, courage and excellence is required.
