**Job Summary**
* Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
* _Floating when needed, mileage reimbursement offered_
* _Certification required at hire_
**Overview**
The **CERTIFIED** **Medical Assistant** performs patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
**Experience**
* Less than a year of related experience **_required_**
* Phlebotomy experience highly preferred
**Education**
* High School Diploma OR equivalency **_required_**
**Certification**
**Must have one of the following on the first day of employment:**
* Certified Medical Assistant
* Registered Medical Assistant
* Certified Clinical Medical Assistant
* Certified EMT (EMT-B)
BLS within 90 days of hire date
