Certified Nursing Assistant - Contract

**Job Type**: Per Diem **Location:** Penn Yan **Shift:** Full time, Part time, Days, Eves and Nights **Pay:** $22/hr+ ### About the Position We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated **Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)** to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide high-quality, hands-on care and support to residents/patients while promoting their comfort, dignity, safety, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, reliable, and works well as part of a team. ### Responsibilities * Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. * Take and record vital signs and other patient information as directed. * Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility. * Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents/patients. * Observe and report changes in residents' condition to the nursing staff. * Assist with meals and monitor food and fluid intake as needed. * Provide compassionate emotional and social support. * Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection-control guidelines. * Accurately document care provided. * Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare professionals. ### Qualifications * Current **CNA certification** in New York * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * 1 year long-term care experience required * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Dependable, compassionate, and professional. * Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, lifting, and assisting with patient transfers. #p3
