******Job Description Summary****** =================================== **Job Description** =================== **Essential Responsibilities** * Verification of Customer & AA requirements on parts being shipped, through analysis of POs, drawings, production routers, applicable specifications, Customer/Engineering/Authorities concessions/service bulletins * Visual and dimensional reverification on the parts to be certified, in collaboration with Overinspection Area * First point of contact with Materials, Logistic and Shipment Departments for prioritization of shipping lists * Direct point of contact for Quality Engineers and Customer Quality engineers for implementation of Specific Customer * Requirements during goods certification for shipment **Required Qualifications** * Degree in Engineering or technical-scientific High School Diploma * Strong and proven experience in Quality/Inspection and Certification, ideally within the aerospace industry, although relevant experience from other sectors will be considered * Knowledge about the Quality Assurance and Quality Control methodologies related to product/ parts to be delivered * Ability to read engineering drawings, POs and specifications and capacity to synthesize requirements * Ability to work in a matrix organization and to handle multiple priorities simultaneously * Availability to cover indiscriminately central, 1st and 2nd shifts, as well as giving overtime coverage when necessary * Italian fluent and good English knowledge * Work visa in accordance with local regulation **Desired Characteristics** * Knowledge of the applicable parts of the aeronautical regulations, in particular PART 21 Subpart G, in order to be able to carry out correctly the EASA F1 release * DPRV qualification (SAE AS13001) * SAP and APICE tools knowledge * Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with Business Functions, Customer and Regulatory bodies * Availability to undertake business travel, as required **Why Join Us:** At Avio Aero, people power our progress.
