We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** MPHS-Mills-Peninsula Medical Center **Position Overview:** Provides spiritual care to patients and families, including assessment and documentation in the Electronic Health Record; participates in interdisciplinary rounds with other members of the health care team; provides response to emergency spiritual care needs as an on-call chaplain; fulfills the accreditation clinical pastoral education (ACPE) certified Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program requirements. **Job Description**: **JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:** * Provides spiritual care to patients and families, including assessment and documentation in the patient's medical record. * Fulfills the ACPE CPE program requirements, including, but not limited to, those outlined in the CPE Handbook and the appropriate ACPE CPE Outcomes. * Participates in interdisciplinary rounds and coordinates spiritual care with other members of the healthcare team. * Provides response to emergency spiritual care needs as an on-call chaplain. * Provides emotional and spiritual support to hospital employees. * Complies with departmental policies, procedures, and record keeping. **EDUCATION:** * _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._ * Bachelor's * Applicant must be accepted in the Sutter ACPE CPE program * Applicant must maintain concurrent enrollment with ACPE as a CPE Student #LI-TM1 **Job Shift:** Days **Schedule:** Per Diem/Casual **Shift Hours:** 8 **Days of the Week:** Variable **Weekend Requirements:** None **Benefits:** No **Unions:** No **Position Status:** Non-Exempt **Weekly Hours:** 0 **Employee Status:** Per Diem/Casual Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.
