Civil Designer

We are thinkers, solvers, and collaborators who work with our clients to deliver the infrastructure and assets that strengthen communities and create a sustainable future. **What you’ll do** As a Civil Designer, you'll work closely with engineers, designers and project teams to develop high-quality civil design documentation and models across a variety of projects. In this role, you'll: * Prepare civil models, drawings and design documentation using industry-standard software * Support the delivery of a variety of projects with a focus on Buildings Civil Defence projects across South Australia and nationally * Work within multidisciplinary project teams, collaborating with structural, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and architectural disciplines * Assist with the development and coordination of design solutions through all project phases * Participate in BIM and model coordination activities * Contribute to quality assurance and design review processes * Assist with project delivery through accurate and timely documentation * Continue developing your technical capability under the guidance of experienced senior designers and engineers **What you’ll bring** * 5+ years' experience in civil drafting, modelling or design within an engineering consultancy, contractor or infrastructure environment * Proficiency in AutoCAD, 12d and/or Civil 3D * Experience delivering civil design documentation and models across buildings, land development and/or infrastructure projects * Exposure to multidisciplinary project environments and coordination with other design disciplines * Experience working alongside BIM teams or participating in BIM coordination activities will be highly regarded * Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality technical documentation * Effective communication and collaboration skills * A proactive approach to learning and professional development * The ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance **How we support your growth** You'll join a supportive team where learning and development are encouraged.
