Job Description (Advert) Arriva is currently offering excellent and rewarding job opportunities for cleaner to join our Hinckley depot. **What Arriva offers:** * £13.85per hour * 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays from your start date * Career progression and training opportunities * Access to Arriva Village – retail discounts and special offers * Free bus travel for you and your household * Arriva Workplace Pension scheme **Role Overview:** As a Cleaner/Fueller/Shunter, your responsibilities will include: * Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the workshop * Cleaning vehicles to Arriva standards and maintaining accurate records * Assisting the storekeeper when required * Keeping the fuelling area clear of hazards and clean at all times * Performing daily sweeping and mopping, with occasional deep interior cleans * Complying with all health and safety regulations and company policies **Shift times**: Full time contract, working 39 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 Between the hours of 17:00 - 02:00 **What we’re looking for:** * Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided * Good communication and teamwork skills * A full UK driving licence (manual, with no more than 6 points) * Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including fitness for a PCV licence Join the Arriva team and be part of delivering clean, safe, and reliable transport for a more sustainable future.
