The following listrepresents potential duties that may be required:● Maintain comprehensive customer profiles including current and past medical history, clinicaland laboratory data, and concurrent medications (including over-the-counter and homeremedies)● Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potentialinteractions, and route of administration. Make recommendations for therapy changes to theprescriber as appropriate● Operate and Troubleshoot Pharmacy Automation Systems• Utilize, monitor, and troubleshoot automated dispensing and fulfillment systems toensure accurate, efficient, and timely preparation of prescription orders• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and engineering teams to resolve automationissues, optimize workflows, and maintain compliance with quality and safety standards● Dispense Controlled Substances and Maintain Regulatory Compliance• Accurately dispense controlled substances in accordance with DEA regulations andstate-specific laws• Maintain thorough, timely, and auditable records of all controlled substancetransactions, including inventory management, reconciliation, and reportingrequirements● Provide Clinical Support:• Answer clinical questions and provide guidance• Collaborate with healthcare team members• Document all healthcare team communications• Investigate and resolve medication errors● Additional Responsibilities:• Implement policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal laws• Maintain required regulatory documentation• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives• Support pharmacy operations across departments as needed• Physical requirements may include ability to perform warehouse work and lift at least20 poundsAbout the team Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Science, or Doctor of Pharmacy in PharmD, or Doctor of Pharmacy- • Proficiency with basic computer functions and pharmacy systems Preferred Qualifications: - • Ability to manage high call volume while maintaining quality customer serviceAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
