Patient care may include evaluating, treating, care management, referral coordination and follow-up with specialists, and health education. This role provides training to medical staff and instructs and counsels patients. **Job Description**: **EDUCATION:** Doctorate: Graduate of an accredited medical school Successful completion of a medical residency program. Successful completion of a medical internship program.   **TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:** 8 years recent relevant experience. **CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:** MD-Doctor of Medicine OR DO-Doctor of Osteopathy of California CSRC-Controlled Substance Registered Certification (DEA) BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider, if required by entity Board eligible or Board certified in area of specialty ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider **DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:** Department: Emergency Department, PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support Department: Pediatrics, PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support Department, SCH OBGYN: NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (not required at SCH for other departments) Department, SCH Internal Medicine, Urology, ENT, Ortho: ACLS not required   **Job Shift:** Days **Schedule:** Full Time **Days of the Week:** Monday - Friday **Weekend Requirements:** None **Benefits:** Yes **Unions:** No **Position Status:** Exempt **Weekly Hours:** 40 **Employee Status:** Regular Employees of Sutter Health and its entities may handle hazardous drugs in the course of their work, including patient care, which requires them to manage, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drugs identified as hazardous or potentially hazardous by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and in accordance with the USP 800 guidelines. Pay Range is $2,080.00 to $1,040,000.00 / annual salary _The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
