Clinical Relief Pool Crisis

**Employment Type:** -------------------- Part time **Shift:** ---------- Rotating Shift **Description:** ================ **Position Purpose:** The Clinical Relief Pool Staff provides as-needed clinical support at the Central Recovery Center (CRC), a facility offering 24/7 services for individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. Relief staff work across various shifts to ensure continuity of care and operations when full-time staff are unavailable. This role includes conducting assessments, crisis intervention, brief therapy, and coordination of care. **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** * Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning for individuals presenting with mental health or substance use crises. * Complete intake evaluations, clinical assessments, and documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards. * Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including medical, psychiatric, peer support, and case management staff. * Support de-escalation efforts and maintain a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented environment. * Participate in shift hand-offs, team meetings, and daily briefings as required. * Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and documentation. * Coordinate with emergency services, hospitals, family members, and community providers for client stabilization and discharge planning. * Provide short-term therapy or brief interventions when appropriate. * Uphold agency policies, confidentiality standards, and ethical practices. _**Minimum Qualifications:**_  * _Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Human Services plus (1) year paid human service experience **OR** Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Human Services plus 3 years paid human service experience._  * _Computer experience preferred._ * _Act 33/34/73 Clearances- to be updated every 5 years at employee’s expense_ * _Physical/TB to be updated every 2 years_ * _Pre-employment drug screen_ * _Valid Driver License_ * _Ability to drive organization vehicle_ _**Position Highlights and Benefits:**_  * Benefits start Day 1 of employment!   Pittsburgh Sick Time _**Schedule: This is a Non-Exempt (hourly) position**_ Flexible Part-time position.  Must work a minimum of 5 work shifts a month. _**About Pittsburgh Mercy**_ We're a community-based health and human services organization using person-centered care to treat our area's most vulnerable populations.
