**Job Title:** Clinical Research Director * **Location :** Vitry-sur-Seine – France **_About the job_** =================== As Clinical Research Director within our Global Development organization, you will be the medical expert leading the clinical development of R&D programs from early phases through Life Cycle Management. You will provide medical expertise to conduct clinical studies, collaborate with cross-functional teams under the leadership of the Global Project Head, and deliver development strategy while preparing for regulatory body interactions. Your strategic and operational focus will ensure the successful execution of clinical development programs that turn hope into reality for patients. Together, we chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead clinical development plan strategies, develop clinical sections of integrated development plans, and collaborate with other clinical experts to build consensus and coordinate action plans with stakeholders * _Lead, support, and oversee the execution of clinical development and study activities, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice, applicable laws, regulations, and SOPs_ * _Develop and review study protocols, informed consent forms, study committee charters, and other key clinical study documents_ * _Provide medical expertise and support for all activities related to clinical study conduct including IRB/HA questions, protocol training, data review, and medical information for study teams_ * _Ensure quality of clinical data through continuous data validation, blinded data review, and clinical case review for safety and efficacy data_ * _Review and contribute to clinical sections of regulatory documentation (IB, CTA, IND, DSUR, BLA/CTD) and collaborate with regulatory and safety teams on submissions and health authority interactions_ * _Participate in and author manuscripts and abstracts, establish collaborations with knowledge experts, and serve as clinical advisor to research teams_ **_About you_** =============== **Experience:** * _Experience in clinical development in the pharmaceutical industry, CRO, or healthcare institution with demonstrated medical expertise._ * _Proven ability to lead clinical development programs and manage cross-functional teams._ * _Experience with regulatory submissions and health authority interactions._ **Technical and Soft Skills:** * _Very good communication skills (verbal and written) for interactions across functional areas and with regulatory agencies._ * _Excellent problem-solving capability with demonstrated ability to challenge decisions and status quo with a risk-management approach._ * _Very good teaching skills with ability to assist and train others._ * _Ability to negotiate to ensure operational resources are available._ * _Strong international and intercultural working skills with openness to apply new digital solutions_ **Education:** _Medical Doctor (MD) degree preferred (General Practitioner or specialist)._ **Languages:** _Proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken)._ **_Why choose us?_** ==================== _Join the engine of Sanofi’s mission — where deep immunoscience meets bold, AI-powered research.
