**Cloud Engineer** ------------------ **Location:** Arlington, VA (Hybrid) **Clearance:** Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance, as required by federal contract. **Summary:** The Cloud Engineer will provide engineering expertise in building, securing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure for DHS CISA. This role focuses on deploying mission-critical workloads in compliant environments while supporting modernization and Zero Trust initiatives. **Responsibilities:** * Deploy and manage workloads in AWS GovCloud and Azure Gov. * Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools. * Implement Zero Trust and FedRAMP-compliant security configurations. * Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and optimize performance. * Collaborate with architects, developers, and security engineers to align cloud solutions with DHS mission needs. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. * 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or cloud operations. * Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments. * Strong understanding of DHS, NIST, and FedRAMP cloud security standards. * Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
