Commercial Contracts Specialist

**Salary:** £39,000.00 - £48,000.00 Per year ‌ Here at Sovereign Network Group (SNG) we're seeking a Commercial Contracts Specialist to join the Property Services Commercial Team. In this role, you will enhance commercial excellence within your department by leading contract management activities for several of SNG's complex, high-value, strategic, and operational contracts. You are expected to leverage your commercial expertise to mobilise contracts, manage their delivery and performance, implement contract changes, and handle risk management within the contracts. Additionally, you will oversee contract transitions and exits. **Key Accountabilities include:** * To own and maintain the Property Services contracting database * Responsible for oversight and monitoring of the implementation of all live contracts across Property Services. * Responsible for managing and communicating all contract changes, and control notices, instigated through contract negotiation, performance, change requests, contract extensions, and contract innovation. * Coordination of the contractual documentation sign-off process with the Procurement Team * Provide commercial advice and guidance on contractual matters, referring to and co-ordinating external legal advice where required. * Oversee payment assessments, and supplier performance, and conduct supplier audits. * Ensure adherence to contract KPIs and deliver regular performance feedback. * Represent the commercial team at monthly review meetings with all contractors (strategic and important partners) where we spend more than £5m over the life of the contract. * Work with other key stakeholders to ensure smooth contract transitions and adherence to commercial and legal standards during the contract lifecycle. * Liaison with other key subject matter experts across the business, i.e. finance, health and safety, and procurement, to ensure SNG is compliant with the contractual and commercial obligations. * Be a central point of contact for all operational portfolio leads, about any commercial or contractual issues **What we're looking for:** * Expert understanding of contract management and supplier relationship management (SRM) and the principles of end-to-end commercial lifecycle management * Experience in the compilation of contracts, contractual design, and contract legal framework * Experience in enacting contract change control processes * Experience in managing the contract lifecycle with a supply chain * Significant experience in the commercial contracting and subcontracting field * Ability to plan, track, and forecast income and expenditure against relevant budgets, to deliver a value-for-money service whilst taking actions to mitigate any risks * Ability to analyse business information and formulate metrics that drive improvements * Good Communicator, both written and verbal * High Level of Microsoft Office Skills [**Job Description**](http://assets-eu-01.kc-usercontent.com/eccf4628-d569-0193-e5b8-bbb9e5c64cd9/eed3897a-f9bb-4051-9a6f-b8a12f7584f9/Commercial%20Contracts%20Specialist%204680.pdf) **We have some great benefits at SNG, including:** * 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (with an extra day every year up to 30 days) * Chance to buy or sell holiday as part of our flexible benefits package * 3 additional wellbeing days and 2 paid volunteering days * Generous matched pension scheme up to 12% and Life cover at 4x salary * Enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption pay  * Options for private medical insurance, dental insurance and critical illness cover * Wellbeing discounts, including Gym Memberships and access to a 24/7 virtual GP service At Sovereign Network Group, we are passionate about inclusion for all and creating a workplace where everyone can thrive.
