Job Description
Lead the Brooklyn Concrete Plant & Depot, overseeing daily operations, safety, finances, team performance, and customer relationships.
We are seeking to recruit enthusiastic and energetic leaders to join the Concrete Operations team as a **Concrete Plant Manager** overseeing our **Brooklyn Concrete Plant & Depot** located in Melbourne. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this is a multi-faceted role responsible for the concrete operations, overseeing the daily management, safety, operational and financial activities.
This is a permanent full-time role, working Monday - Friday and weekend work according to business needs and we offer a competitive salary, fully maintained company vehicle, phone, laptop, and an incentive program.
**In your new role, you will:**
* Be in the driver's seat, managing the day-to-day operations and making decisions that impact the overall performance of the business, including sales, financial reporting and managing costs within budget.
* Build and maintain effective relationships through regular communications to ensure that we are aiming towards achieving the perfect day for our customers.
* Provide comprehensive operational management, oversight, and support for all department activities. This includes monitoring progress and performance, taking necessary actions to ensure the success of the department and greater business.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety among all plant personnel.
* Lead and mentor plant personnel, providing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and performance.
