Job Description: ---------------- **• Fitzroy and Shepparton (GVH) location** • Pro-active & supportive leadership • Work for one of Australia’s leading hospital groups • Permanent, Part Time **(3.5 hours per week at SVHM; 7 hours per week GVH)** **About the Role** An exciting opportunity exists with this joint appointment which provides an opportunity for a Consultant Cardiologist with expertise in cardiac pacing and arrhythmia management to contribute across both a tertiary metropolitan service (SVHM) and a regional health service (GVH). **Key duties:** •Provide clinical oversight of pacemaker and cardiac device clinics at both sites: ​ **SVHM**: 3.5 hours per week ​**GVH**: Up to 7 hours per week • Supervise cardiac technologists/scientists and nursing staff in device interrogation and programming of Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices (CIED) • Review device data and ensure appropriate clinical management plans • Support complex device troubleshooting and clinical decision-making • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation • Contribute to quality assurance, safety, and accreditation processes within device services **Your Contribution** • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in Cardiology • AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner with specialist recognition • Demonstrated expertise in cardiac pacing and device management • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain **What we Offer** • A focus on wellbeing initiatives, with regular events and programs • Confidential, solutions-focused employee counselling • A healthy work/life balance encouraged. • Ability to join Fitness Passport - Your pass to an extensive choice of fitness facilities • Salary Packaging – Increase your take home pay! • Discounts and Promotions always available through our Foundation • Regular opportunities for professional development to assist you to reach your career goals • Culture of continuous improvement • Flexible working arrangements considered **About Cardiology** SVHM Cardiology provides specialty care to both elective and emergency patients encompassing diagnostics, consultation, and intervention across all areas of cardiology.
