Description: This position is for a tech lead role. Leadership and Ownership will be the primary soft skills needed for this position. Technical skills outlined below.
Must Have Technical Skills
• GitHub & GitHub Actions: In depth, hands on experience with repository management, branching strategies, CI workflows, and pipeline troubleshooting.
• Harness (CI/CD): Strong experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines, managing deployment strategies, and supporting release orchestration.
• JFrog Platform (Artifactory, Xray): Proven expertise in artifact management, repository configuration, security scanning, and CI/CD integrations.
• Kubernetes & Linux: Practical experience supporting containerized applications and Linux-based environments, including:
o System administration and troubleshooting
o Performance, permissions, and networking
o Operational stability and reliability
o Basic Knowledge in AWS Cloud services like IAM, S3, Workspaces, Cloud Watch etc.
o Linux concepts and command knowledge
o Build and manage containers
o Understanding of containerized workloads
o Kubernetes triaging and deployment
• Programming & Scripting Languages: Working knowledge of:
o Python
o TypeScript
o Java
• Technical Leadership & Guidance: Ability to guide development teams, review solutions at a high level, and ensure adherence to engineering best practices, even when not writing code on a daily basis.
Nice to have Technical Skills
• Jenkins: Hands-on experience configuring pipelines, maintaining jobs, and integrating Jenkins with modern CI/CD ecosystems.
• Multi Platform CI/CD Environments: Familiarity with organizations operating or transitioning across multiple CI/CD and deployment platforms.
• Monitoring, Logging & Observability
o New relic, Grafana and Splunk usage and understanding
o Monitor system health and performance
• Security & Compliance: Managing secrets/passwords/Certificates/Access Controls for tools
• Release & Deployment Management: Understanding of Release & Deployment Management and strategies
• System Reliability & Troubleshooting
o Handle production incidents
o Perform root cause analysis (RCA)
o Improve system resilience and uptime
o Participating in on call rotations

As a Software Engineer, you will focus on mentoring and leading others to deliver high quality, cost-effective technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications.

* Responsible for applying secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
* Mentors and trains other team members on design techniques, tools and coding standards.
* Provides strategic advice on using technology to achieve goals.
* Drives cross-collaboration and execution of projects across multiple teams.
* Analyzes, solutions, develops, tests, debugs, documents and deploys software according to standards and optimal practices.

**Qualifications & Experience:**
**Education:**
Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, mathematics or related field is strongly preferred.
**Experience:**
Six years of experience in programming and systems analysis. Three years of experience in project management is preferred.
