As **Continuous Improvement Intern**, you will support the deployment of Operational Excellence initiatives within our manufacturing site, contributing to process improvement and operational efficiency projects. Reporting to the Manufacturing Director, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and gain hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing methodologies within an international industrial environment. You will work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance teams to improve processes, analyze operational performance, and contribute to manufacturing excellence projects while developing your Lean Manufacturing knowledge and practical experience._ **WHAT YOU WILL DO** ==================== * _Support the implementation of Operational Excellence (OpEx) initiatives across the site_ * _Participate in manufacturing and supply chain improvement projects_ * _Support shop floor activities and operational excellence programs_ * _Take part in Gemba walks to identify process improvement opportunities_ * _Assist in the application of Lean tools such as 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, and basic problem-solving techniques_ * _Support the preparation and execution of Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops_ * _Collect, monitor, and analyze process performance data and KPIs_ * _Prepare reports and presentations to track progress of improvement initiatives_ * _Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain_ * _Support process documentation, standardization activities, and best practice implementation_ * _Contribute to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the plant_ **ABOUT YOU** ============= * _University degree (or currently pursuing a degree) in Engineering, Management Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field_ * _Strong analytical and problem-solving skills_ * _Interest in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence_ * _Basic understanding of project management principles_ * _Good communication and interpersonal skills_ * _Proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn in a manufacturing environment_ * _Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams_ * _Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint_ * _Fluent Italian and good English skills, both written and spoken_ * _Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies is considered a plus_ **WHAT WE OFFER** ================= _We offer a **6-month internship with a progressive reimbursement package**: €700/month for the first 3 months and €900/month for the remaining 3 months; together with_ _a comprehensive benefits and development package including:_ _✔_ _Hands-on experience in manufacturing improvement projects_ _✔_ _Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence methodologies_ _✔_ _Collaboration with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders_ _✔_ _Professional development and learning opportunities_ _✔_ _Inclusive and collaborative working environment within a multicultural team_ _✔_ _Opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that improve business performance_ _✔_ _Hybrid working flexibility according to company needs._ **ABOUT OUR WORKPLACE** ======================= Aliaxis is proud to be an equal opportunity employer who welcomes candidates and employees from all backgrounds.
