The Corporate Banking Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting senior bankers in managing client relationships, conducting comprehensive financial analysis, and executing a range of corporate banking solutions. Key Responsibilities: --------------------- * **Client Engagement Support:** Assist in preparing client-facing materials, including proposals, pitch books, and presentations, to support relationship management and business development efforts. * **Financial Analysis & Modeling:** Conduct in-depth financial statement analysis, credit assessments, and valuation modeling to evaluate client financial performance and support transaction structuring. * **Transaction Execution:** Support the origination and execution of corporate banking products, including credit facilities, treasury solutions, and capital markets advisory, in coordination with relevant product teams. * **Market & Industry Research:** Perform economic, industry, and company-specific research to identify market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities or risks. * **Documentation & Reporting:** Prepare detailed written recommendations, statistical exhibits, and internal reports to facilitate informed decision-making. * **Risk Management & Compliance:** Understand and adhere to the firm's risk assessment frameworks, internal policies, and regulatory requirements, ensuring sound judgment in all business practices. * **Cross-functional Collaboration:** Partner effectively with bankers, product specialists, and other internal stakeholders to deliver seamless client service. Qualifications: --------------- * **Experience:** 2-5 years of relevant experience in corporate banking, investment banking, credit analysis, or a related financial services role. * **Technical Skills:** Proven proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis, and advanced Excel skills. * **Analytical Acumen:** Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. * **Communication:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely. * **Organizational Skills:** Demonstrated strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. * **Industry Knowledge:** Solid understanding of corporate finance principles, financial products (e.g., loans, debt capital markets, treasury services), and the regulatory landscape affecting corporate banking.
