AmSurg is an ambulatory surgery facility. Modern medical advances have made it possible for an adult or child to have non-emergency surgery and return home the same day. **Case Assignments** Diverse case mix including endo, eyes, ortho, ENT, general and vascular **Shifts** Monday-Friday 7am-3pm No call, no weekends **Team Leadership** Dr. Genevieve Obrochta, Chief of Anesthesia **Team Highlights** **Requirements Responsibilities** Pre-anesthesia assessment Obtains and/or verifies patient consent Discusses anesthetic options and risks with the patient Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition Performance of clinical intervention as needed **Requirements** Current license as a registered professional nurse Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists **Lifestyle** Joliet, IL: The city of Joliet has a family-friendly atmosphere, a strong sense of its heritage, and an abundance for fun activities and events.
