**Required Qualifications**

### _**Education**_
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
### _**Experience**_
* Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology Required
### _**Certifications**_
* ARRT‑R (Radiography)
* ARRT‑CT – ARRT Computed Tomography
* BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association
**Core Responsibilities**
-------------------------
* Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines, use your technical knowledge to capture quality diagnostic images
* Work independently operating imaging or radiographic equipment safely and adjusting techniques to maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA)
* Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms or equipment per infection control schedules; identify and report equipment issues promptly
* Obtain clinical history and screen for contraindications; verify orders and two unique patient identifiers before any exam
* Explain procedures, prep, and post‑care clearly using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety
* Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age‑appropriate care throughout the visit
* Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol, using venipuncture and sterile technique when applicable
* Position patients correctly and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated
* Review images for diagnostic acceptability; repeat or correct as needed and release patients appropriately
* Complete accurate, timely documentation and ensure studies are correctly finalized in RIS/PACS (including transfers/retrieval, CDs, and prior exam retrieval as needed)
* Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and help maintain and restock crash cart and life‑support equipment as required
* Organize daily workflows to meet expected timeframes; collaborate with technologists/modalities to support department flow
* Support operations and compliance, keep areas orderly and stocked, transport patients safely, complete charging/clerical tasks, follow regulatory requirements, and escalate issues to the supervisor
