The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The CT Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

**Career Ladder Opportunities:**
**CT Technologist:**
* Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours.
* Experience: no experience required.
* Certification: Obtained ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
* Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
**Advanced CT Technologist:**
* Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours
* Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience.
* Certification: ARRT (CT); Basic Life Support (BLS).
* Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
**Senior CT Technologist:**
* Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours.
* Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience.
* Certification: ARRT (CT); Basic Life Support (BLS).
* Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
