Curriculum Coordinator and English Teacher

Future Education is an educational consultant company that assists students and families with attending school abroad or international schools in Japan. Our goal is to assist students and their parents achieve their educational goals by helping students and parents navigate admissions, prepare them for exams, and support them throughout their studies. At Future Education, we don’t stop at the acceptance letter; we provide support throughout every step of the child’s educational journey. We provide total support to families including educational consulting, tutoring services, and assistance with communication between parents and the school. We not only excel in assisting families with education in Japan, but also overseas boarding school and university admissions. Our students currently attend top boarding schools and universities in the US, Canada, and the UK. We also provide additional support for families that would like to send their students on short-term study abroad programs during the summer. In this position, you will serve as one of the main teachers for our students in Tokyo ranging from toddler to elementary school age. You will conduct lessons in-person and online, as well as creating exciting field trip itineraries to museums, parks, and other educational experiences throughout Tokyo. In addition, you will direct students’ curriculums to meet their educational and developmental goals while communicating with part-time tutors. Ideal candidates will possess a background in teaching and education, experience taking care of young children, and a proactive, self-starting attitude towards curriculum planning. Native English level is required. Applicants should be at least conversationally fluent in Japanese (N2), but applicants with a higher level of fluency are preferred. We are seeking bright and passionate individuals who can manage themselves, but also maintain strong relationships with our small team here at Future Education.
