* **Customer Liaison:** Act as the central point of contact for customer quality complaints and queries, producing formal reports and progress updates that reflect our commitment to excellence using structured techniques—such as 5 Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa, and Pareto Analysis—and apply data-driven evidence to validate your findings.

* **Team meetings**: Facilitate cross-functional meetings to implement corrective and preventive actions, ensuring that all findings are documented and integrated into our quality management systems.
* **Drive a quality culture**: Develop and deliver training on quality assurance practices, mentor colleagues on quality-related topics, and embed a continuous improvement mindset across the team.
**Candidate Requirements**
* **Qualification**: Engineering degree in mechanical, manufacturing or aerospace
* **Professional Experience:** Proven experience in a customer-facing quality role, including project quality assurance.
* **Audit Experience: A** strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards with experience in conducting or supporting internal or external quality audits.
* **Analytical Proficiency:** Demonstrated proficiency in root cause analysis techniques (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone/Ishikawa, Pareto Analysis) and the ability to use data-driven evidence to validate findings.
* **Process & Quality Knowledge:** A strong understanding of quality management systems and an analytical approach to identifying and addressing manufacturing process variations.
* **Communication Skills:** Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific experience in presenting technical findings to senior stakeholders.
* **Collaborative Mindset:** A proactive, leadership-oriented approach to working across departments to achieve site-wide quality goals.
* **Technical Literacy:** Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* **Security Requirements:** You must hold a **valid UK passport** and be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
**Desirable Attributes:**
* Practical experience in conducting or facilitating **FMEA** (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) within a project-based environment in complex engineering or manufacturing sectors.
* **Six Sigma Green/Black Belt:** Statistical training to reduce manufacturing defects and process variation.
