**Job Description & Summary** About the team  --------------- Threat Management team consists of cybersecurity professionals focused on prevention of the cyberattacks via detection and responding to cyber threats. The key pillars consist of incident response, threat hunting, threat intelligence, security monitoring, vulnerability management, engineering and consulting services.   About your manager  ------------------- [Lubomír](http://www.linkedin.com/in/lubomir-almer/) has over 10 years of cyber security experience with different projects related to mainly cyber security managed services, building and operating Security Operation Centers (SOC), Threat Hunting & Intelligence and Vulnerability Management. Lubomír is also responsible for team leading, project management, designing of cyber security managed services, creation and development of training plans and is a proven coach to train other team members or client staff. Outside of work, he is involved in teaching, science, and research at the University of Hradec Králové, where he guarantees and teaches the course Surveillance Systems and Forensic Analysis. Job description & summary  -------------------------- As a manager, you will lead the newly established TDR delivery team. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the team delivers high-quality technical services that significantly impact the client's security posture. You will be the main contact for clients, a mentor for Senior Associates, and a key player in developing service offerings and business development. However, you’re expected to still “_get your hands dirty_” – this isn’t a pure project manager role, but a technical delivery leader. This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape a growing Threat Detection & Response practice, with significant ownership, visibility, and impact. You'll work directly with senior security stakeholders, develop your leadership and business-building skills, and influence both the service portfolio and market positioning. Strong performance in client delivery and business growth can lead to a clear progression path toward a Senior Manager or Director role. **Delivery Leadership & Client Relationship (~35% of Time)** * Lead client engagements end-to-end, managing scope, priorities, escalations, and delivery quality. * Act as the primary client contact, engaging with security leadership and management. * Facilitate executive and technical workshops and present outcomes to C-level/CISO stakeholders. **Technical Contribution (~30% of Time)** * ​Provide hands-on expertise in SIEM, Threat Hunting, Incident Response, and Detection Engineering, stepping into technical delivery when needed. * Review technical outputs and provide architectural guidance across detection and response areas (SIEM architecture, log management strategies, use case framework). * Monitor the threat landscape and translate findings into client recommendations. **Business Development, Mentoring & Service Development (~35% of Time)** * Mentor Senior Associates and support their technical and professional growth. * Drive business development through presales activities, proposals, pricing, estimation, and resource planning. * Define and scale service offerings, delivery frameworks, reusable assets, and cross-practice collaboration initiatives. What matters to us ------------------ * 6–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including at least 2 years in consulting/professional services or a role with client responsibility. * Practical hands-on experience in at least two areas: SIEM (preferably Splunk), Threat Hunting, Incident Response, Detection Engineering. * Proven experience in leading projects/work packages/delivery streams. * Ability to communicate with security leadership and management—not just technically, but in business terms as well. * Experience in mentoring junior/mid-level team members. * Proficient in English at a working level (C1); Czech is an advantage. * Ability to structure complex problems and propose pragmatic solutions. * Experience in preparing proposals, labor estimation, and scope definition.
