This role ensures the availability, performance, security, and scalability of data systems while enabling analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. The position works closely with local, regional, and global infrastructure, cybersecurity, platform, and business teams. The role reports directly to the Infrastructure Leader and functionally to the Regional/Global Data Spoke. **🚀 Your next challenge** * Design and implement scalable data storage, processing, and management solutions. * Build, maintain, and optimize data processing pipelines, ensuring data quality and reliability. * Administer and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments. * Automate deployment, provisioning, patching, and database administration processes. * Monitor, troubleshoot, and fine-tune database performance to support high-volume workloads. * Establish data standards, security measures, and access controls to ensure compliance and data protection. * Collaborate with infrastructure, application, cybersecurity, and business teams to deliver efficient data solutions. * Build and enhance internal developer platforms (IDP) to support data users and engineering teams. * Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when required. **🌟 You’re a match** * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. * Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator, IT Infrastructure Administrator, or Cloud Engineer. * At least 1 year of hands-on experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) is required. * Strong experience with: Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL * Certifications such as Azure Administrator, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Database Administrator Associate, or AWS equivalents are highly valued. * Mandatory knowledge of: Database automation frameworks and Database architecture processes * Experience working in hybrid cloud/on-premise environments is highly desirable. * Strong Microsoft 365 proficiency. * Advanced English level, with the ability to hold business and technical conversations fluently. * Experience managing vendors and technology providers is considered a strong plus. * Soft Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
