Job Summary ----------- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Debug Engineer** located in **Prai, Penang**. **What a typical day looks like:** * Understands conditions under which tests are to be conducted and sequences and phases of test operations. * Prepares technical summary reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel. * Interfaces and confers with engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues. * Uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on electronic products and systems or software for examination purpose. * Allocates defect causes to the various sources e.g. process, material, and prepares reports for follow other involved like quality, purchasing, SQA. * Interferes with floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, as well as proper problem-solving techniques. * Resolves test yield problems by performing investigation of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements. * Evaluate and configure digital circuits using Field programable Gate Array (FPGA) and Ball Grid Array (BGA). * Resolves failures from Point of origin / point of detection. * Evaluates and interprets test data and product performance with proper evidence of design related Failure Analysis Report. **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. * Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in related functions. **What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:** * Medical benefits, dental, vision * Life Insurance * Paid Time Off * Performance Bonus NB87 Job Category ------------ Production Engineering Required Skills: Optional Skills: Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
