Delta One Product Controller - Capital Markets Finance Europe

**Job Description** **What is the opportunity?** You will be a Product Controller in the London-based Global Equities Product Control team. Should you be shortlisted, do please let us know if you have any specific requirements for the interview. _This is a permanent, full-time role and requires 4 days in the 100 Bishopsgate, London office_ **What will you do?** * Provide quality analytical support to RBC’s Global Equities EMEA and APAC desks * Act as the primary point person for all Front Office queries and issues and effectively monitor, track, and complete tasks in a timely fashion. * Perform daily P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations to ensure figures are properly tied back to the systems of records. * Prepare daily p&l and decomposition with associated commentary. * Report daily commission to business management at detailed sub levels. * Resolve trader queries regarding missing or incorrect commission and the reallocation of commissions. * Calculate, liaise and report, assist in booking and settle intra group commissions including resolution of trade differences. * Prepare monthly reconciliations and standards of documentation to assist in attestation of balances and review by Financial Control. * Prepare all monthly accounting entries to the sub and General Ledger and conduct reconciliations to ensure figures are properly tied back to the systems of record. **What do you need to succeed?** **Must-have** * Capital Markets experience, with an excellent knowledge of Cash Equities and Equity Derivatives. * Strong accounting experience. * Excellent Excel skills. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills. * Able to work effectively and reliably under pressure. * Advanced understanding of procedures and operational controls as they relate to trading systems and workflows. **Nice-to-have** * University Degree or similar / equivalent. * Accounting Qualification, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar / equivalent. **What is in it for you?** We thrive on the challenge to be our best - progressive thinking to keep growing and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.  We care about each other, reaching our potential, making a difference to our communities, and achieving success that is mutual. * A comprehensive Total Rewards Program including bonuses, flexible benefits and competitive compensation * Leaders who support your development through coaching and managing opportunities * Opportunities to work with the best in the field * Ability to make a difference and lasting impact * Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team * A world-class training program in financial services. **Agency Notice** _RBC Group does not accept agency resumés.  Please do not forward resumés to our employees, nor any other company location.  RBC Group only_ _pay fees to agencies where they have entered into a prior agreement to do so and in any event do not pay_ _fees related to unsolicited resumés.
