Developer

We are looking for an Entry-Level Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career developer with hands-on exposure to building web applications through internships, hackathons, or academic/personal projects. You'll work across the stack building responsive user interfaces with React.js and robust backend services with Python (Flask/Django) while collaborating closely with senior engineers to ship real features. **Job Description:** Key responsibilities: * Design and develop responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using React.js * Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Python (Flask or Django) * Integrate frontend applications with backend services and third-party APIs * Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases (MySQL / MongoDB) for data modeling and queries * Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code * Participate in code reviews, testing (including manual and API testing via tools like Postman), and debugging * Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver features within timelines * Assist in identifying and fixing bugs, and improving application performance and usability **Required Skills** ------------------- * Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js * Working knowledge of Python with experience in Flask or Django * Familiarity with REST API design and integration * Basic experience with MySQL and/or MongoDB * Understanding of version control tools (Git/GitHub) * Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman * Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability * Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment **Good to Have** ---------------- * Exposure to LLM models and AI integration. * Experience with web scraping or data extraction modules * Basic understanding of ML-assisted or rule-based analysis (e.g., security/fraud detection use cases) * Prior internship experience in a full-stack role * Participation in hackathons or coding competitions * A portfolio of personal or academic full-stack projects (GitHub links welcome) **Qualifications** ------------------ * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Strong academic record preferred * 0–1 years of relevant experience through internships, projects, or hackathons **Location:** Gurugram **Brand:** Sokrati **Time Type:** Full time **Contract Type:** Permanent
