Developer Material Sourcing

**ABOUT YOUR ROLE:** _Support growth and profitability as a material sourcing expert. Execute professional material development and commercialization to transition from development to bulk in coordination with the product calendar._ **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:** _Include but not limited to_ * _Manage the material development to bulk production process for the business, working with key business partners in overseas headquarter and other sourcing team._ * _Ensure all material development activities (including lab dips, strike offs, salesman samples) are followed strictly to the calendar, working with relevant stakeholders throughout the process._ * _Provide knowledge and guidance on materials to the business teams._ * _Solid experience to deal with offshore vendors and proactively to communicate with them for all fabric and/or trim development follow up, including all required testing._ * _Proactively work with fabric and/or trim suppliers and business partner for solution of potential quality issues._ * _Prepare supplier performance reports to manage business expectations and product delivery._ * _Collect & manage the details and documents (including sample invoices & GRS certification) for seasonal reports._ * _Proactive in price negotiation and sourcing of suppliers to meet requirements, conduct cost analysis._ * _Participate in and help drive process improvements._ **WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:** **_Competency requirements:_** * _Sound knowledge and experience handling fabric and/or trim materials (woven & knit)._ * _Able to review product and suggest alternative options for costing and technical purposes._ * _Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, in English and Spanish._ * _Strong multitasker that can handle a wide scope on tight deadlines._ * _Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and be focused._ * _Extremely well organized with a keen eye for detail._ * _Competent in managing relationships with suppliers and internal business partners._ **_Skill Requirements:_** * _At least 3 years’ experience, preferable in textiles/fashion/consumer goods._ * _Intermediate-advanced_ _user of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel (pivot tables, etc)._ R-20260805-0034
