**In this role you will:**
* Maintain and improve the reliability, availability, and performance of production infrastructure.
* Monitor cloud infrastructure and proactively identify potential issues before they impact customers.
* Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement long-term preventive solutions.
* Automate operational tasks using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and scripting.
* Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure (ECS Fargate) and Kubernetes (EKS) clusters.
* Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
* Improve observability by developing monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards.
* Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.
* Participate in incident response and on-call rotations.
* Continuously optimize infrastructure costs, security, and operational efficiency.
**Skills and experience you will need:**
* 3+ years of experience as a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineer.
* Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM, ALB/NLB, Route53, EKS, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.).
* Solid experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
* Strong hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
* Experience administering Kubernetes clusters (preferably Amazon EKS) and ECS Fargate.
* Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
* Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
* Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, CloudWatch).
* Experience with CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).
* Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Load Balancers, Routing, Firewalls).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience troubleshooting complex production incidents and performing root cause analysis (RCA).
* English level: Intermediate+ or higher.
**Would be a plus:**
* Experience with HashiCorp Vault.
* Experience with ArgoCD, FluxCD, or GitOps workflows.
* Experience administering PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or Kafka.
* Knowledge of SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets, Incident Management).
* Experience with Security best practices and compliance standards (ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks).
* Experience working in high-load, highly available production environments.
* Experience with GCP or Hetzner.
* AWS or Kubernetes certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, CKAD).
