Digital & Tech Legal Counsel

We are looking for a **Digital & Tech Legal Counsel** **(fixed-term contract)**. You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris. This role is part of the Global Operations & Procurement Legal team and focuses on supporting Pernod Ricard’s Global Tech and Tech Procurement teams. You will play a key role in supporting Pernod Ricard’s global digital transformation, working on high-impact, cross-border technology initiatives across procurement, data, and AI. The position is offered as a fixed-term contract (approximately 7 months) to cover a maternity leave. **Your key missions:** * You will draft, review and negotiate a wide range of technology and commercial contracts (SaaS, cloud, software licensing, IT services, outsourcing). * You will advise on data protection and cybersecurity matters, ensuring compliance with GDPR and managing data-related risks in supplier contracts. * You will support AI-related topics, including reviewing AI vendor agreements and contributing to compliance and governance (e.g. EU AI Act). * You will support procurement activities, including RFx processes, supplier selection, and contract award negotiations. * You will provide legal support on operational matters (procurement, supply chain, supplier disputes) and help resolve contractual issues. * You will partner with global stakeholders (Tech, Procurement, Legal) and contribute to regulatory monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. **If you recognize yourself in the description below, don’t wait to apply!** * You have 3–5 years of experience in commercial and technology law (law firm and/or in-house), with strong exposure to IT contracts, SaaS and data protection. * You have solid experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in an international environment. * You are comfortable working with cross-functional and global stakeholders, building strong relationships across teams. * You are business-oriented, pragmatic, and able to balance legal risk with operational needs. * You are organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. * You are fluent in English, with strong communication skills (French and/or Spanish is a plus). * You are curious, agile, and genuinely interested in technology, digital transformation and innovation. **Wait, there’s more…** We offer you an outstanding and collaborative workplace that embodies our sharing & conviviality culture, the possibility to work remotely (up to 2 days a week), a very complete mutual insurance, an attractive compensation including profit-sharing, the possibility to train daily, employee events… _Pernod Ricard is committed to offering equal opportunities to all talents.
