Whether you're looking to grow your career in security or take on a new challenge, you'll receive the support and **paid training** needed to succeed in this rewarding role. **Duties include but are not limited to:** * Monitor and control access to restricted areas, including verifying IDs and issuing passes. * Operate and monitor security systems such as CCTV, alarms, X-ray machines and metal detectors. * Conduct screening of personnel, visitors and deliveries, including ID checks, bag inspections and screening for prohibited items. * Perform regular patrols (internal, external and residence) to ensure doors, gates and perimeters are secure. * Respond to security incidents or alerts, including initiating lockdowns, denying access, or calling for backup as per protocol. * Log and report all relevant activities, incidents and irregularities in official records, logs or reports. **Ideal candidates will have:** * Must be an **Australian Citizen**. * Valid Victorian Security Licence. * Valid Victorian Drivers Licence. * Certificate II in security operations (or higher). * Possess a Handcuff and Baton Certificate (or willing to obtain). * Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain). * Willing to undergo a National Police Check. * 24/7 Availability. **Master License Number:** 409-987-30S **How to apply** ---------------- MSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer, valuing the unique backgrounds, experiences, and contributions of each person We encourage and celebrate diversity.
