You will partner closely with the Head of CPMQ and the CPMQ Leadership Team to drive strategy execution, organizational effectiveness, operational excellence, and business performance across a global organization. In this highly visible role, you will lead transformation initiatives, advance digitalization and AI adoption, and strengthen the capabilities, processes, and culture that enable CPMQ to thrive. You will champion innovative ways of working, foster a collaborative and inclusive environment, and ensure the organization is positioned to meet evolving business needs while delivering sustainable impact across R&D and Global Quality. How You Will Contribute ----------------------- * Partner with the Head of CPMQ and Leadership Team to develop, implement, and continuously evolve CPMQ strategy, priorities, and organizational capabilities * Lead strategic transformation initiatives that drive operational excellence, organizational effectiveness, digitalization, AI adoption, and continuous improvement * Oversee the CPMQ portfolio of strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment, execution, risk management, and delivery of business objectives * Drive governance and business operations through performance management, organizational metrics, leadership reviews, operational planning, and management reporting * Establish and monitor key performance indicators to support data-driven decision-making and organizational effectiveness * Identify, prioritize, and implement digital, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and employee experience * Lead organizational change management efforts, including communications, stakeholder engagement, adoption strategies, and leadership alignment * Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive culture that supports employee engagement, development, and innovation * Provide leadership for budget planning, forecasting, workforce planning, resource allocation, capacity management, and financial stewardship * Manage investment prioritization and vendor expenditures to support strategic and operational goals * Lead the CPMQ Operations and Administration function, ensuring effective business support, knowledge management, organizational planning, and leadership team operations * Build and sustain a future-ready organization through leadership development, talent strategies, and continuous capability enhancement Skills and Qualifications ------------------------- * Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Engineering, or a related field * 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other complex global organizations * Demonstrated experience leading business transformation, organizational effectiveness, operational excellence, and large-scale change initiatives * Proven success developing and executing strategic plans and managing portfolios of complex, cross-functional programs and projects * Experience overseeing budgets, financial planning, resource management, workforce planning, and organizational investments * Experience leading digital transformation initiatives, including process optimization, automation, data analytics, and AI-enabled solutions * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization * Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and the ability to translate vision into measurable outcomes * Proven ability to drive execution through collaboration, influence, and effective stakeholder management * Fluency in written and spoken English **Takeda Compensation and Benefits Summary** We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. We are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.  **For Location:** Boston, MA **U.S. Base Salary Range:** $177,000.00 - $278,080.00 The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.  U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
