Dishwasher

**POSITION:**                   **PART-TIME Dishwasher** **REPORTS TO:**              Executive Chef/Food and Beverage Manager **FLSA STATUS:**            Hourly Non-Exempt **POSITION SUMMARY** This position maintains all Stewarding functions.  Responsible for cleaning of all china, glass, silver and serving equipment; facilitating all plate-up and delivery of all food to prospective functions; set-up and breakdown of all Banquet buffets; cleaning of all Food & Beverage food prep and servicing areas, to include main kitchen, concessions kitchen and back hallways. **POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES** * Delivery of all food to prospective functions. * Delivery and set-up and breakdown of all equipment to prospective functions. * Cleanliness in both kitchens. * Position is very hands on with excessive interaction with staff. * Running and maintenance of the main dish machine. * Must be quick with counting and simple arithmetic. * Other duties as assigned. **WORK CONTACTS** Daily contact with the Executive Chef, Sous Chef and other convention center employees. **PHYSICAL EFFORT** This position requires stooping and lifting.  Substantial standing, walking and pushing and or pulling of equipment.  Must be able to lift 25 lbs to the waist. **WORKING CONDITIONS** Works throughout the building. **MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** * At least two (2) years of experience in a Food & Beverage environment. * Strong ability to work with other staff members in the facility. * Results oriented individuals with the ability to meet required time lines. * Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks. * Must adhere to local Food Codes. **All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.** LEGIONS/ASMGlobal is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer, and encourages women, minorities, individuals with disabilities, and protected veterans to apply.  VEVRRA Federal Contractor.
