Dispatcher

We are seeking a detail oriented **Dispatcher** in Natchitoches to support daily operations by coordinating routes, communicating with drivers, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment. * Schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. * Pay: **$17/hr**. * On top of competitive pay, we offer excellent benefits, 401k match $1 per $1 up to 5%, vacation, and year-round work. **Responsibilities:** * Perform accurate and timely data entry. * Electronically route and reroute stops as operational needs change. * Communicate with drivers using a two way radio. * Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers professionally. * Coordinate with supervisors and customers to resolve operational issues. * Process customer information through company systems and learn dispatch-related software and procedures. * Complete time sensitive tasks and meet daily operational deadlines. **Qualifications:** * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook, preferred. * Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a deadline driven environment. * Availability to work required Saturday hours. _Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
