Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** * Operate drilling and roof bolting equipment safely and efficiently * Install roof support systems to maintain underground stability * Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment * Monitor drilling and bolting progress, making adjustments as needed * Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations **What Are We Looking For** * Ability to operate and maintain drilling and roof bolting machinery * Strong focus on safety and compliance standards * Capability to work in physically demanding underground environments * Effective communication and teamwork skills * Problem-solving mindset for adapting to changing conditions **Conditions of Employment** * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing **Work Environment** * Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level **What We Offer** * $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate * $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year) * Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension * Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
