**BASIC FUNCTION:** ------------------- ### We are seeking a motivated and analytical Data Scientist Coop student to join our team. You will work closely with scientists and senior data scientists and cross-functional teams to analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and generate actionable insights that support business decisions. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** --------------------- * ### Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources. * ### Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns. * ### Assist in developing and deploying machine learning models. * ### Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings. * ### Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions. * ### Document methodologies and maintain reproducible workflows. * ### Stay updated on the latest data science tools and techniques. **QUALIFICATIONS:** ------------------- ### Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. ### Ideal candidate must have 0-3 years of experience in a similar role and have proficiency in Python or R, and SQL, must have familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, matplotlib, seaborn). ### Understanding of statistical methods and machine learning algorithms. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
