**Summary** **Job Description:** **Monitor Technician** Part-Time I Third Shift (12hrs) Emergency Department I Hamburg The Emergency Department at Baptist Health Hamburg is a part of a 344,000-square-foot medical center offering 24/7 emergency care for patients of all ages. The ED includes specialty treatment rooms, an Extended Care Unit for short-stay observation, and access to 24-hour EMS transport, including ALS ambulance support. Our team delivers high-quality, patient-focused care in a modern, collaborative environment. **Description:** * Observes cardiac monitor, oxygen saturation and Blood pressure. Maintains equipment and supplies. * Documents and communicates information regarding patient rhythms and Oxygen saturations, and blood pressure.   * Responsible for identification of patient arrhythmias, abnormalities, or significant changes from baseline and reporting on the condition of patient/client to the appropriate supervisor or other health care team members. * Responsible for assisting providers with cardiac monitoring, therapeutic measures, and procedures related to cardiac monitoring. **Requirements:**   * High school diploma or equivalent.  * Less than one year's experience.  * RN License, LPN, prior monitor tech experience (substitute for degree)  * Dysrhythmia courses are completed during orientation and recertified annually.  * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
