Job Summary ----------- _To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Environmental Health & Safety Manager**_ _located in **Guadalajara, North Campus**._ _Reporting to the EH&S Manager, **Environmental Health & Safety Manager** role involves_ _in charge of providing immediate supervision to a group of employees for the implementation of complex activities related to the efficient management of Environmental Health & Safety programs in offices and manufacturing sites to ensure that the required company and government standards and regulations are met._ **What a typical day looks like:**   * Manage, through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) programs in offices, manufacturing sites, and plants with control results in terms of costs, methods, and employees. * Develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance requirements. * Conduct meetings involving environmental safety, training, and awareness programs. * Oversee proper maintenance of buildings, furniture and fixtures in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. * Provide direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance and act as advisor to unit, or sub-units and get involved as required to meet schedules or resolve problems. * Establish and recommend changes to policies which affect subordinate organization(s). * Interact frequently with subordinate supervisors, customers and/or functional peer group managers. * Conduct presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc. * Manage budget and schedule for moderately complex EH&S activities, including costs of contract labor, equipment, and materials. * Train staff on any changes to policy and procedures. * Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce   **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:**   * BA/BS or equivalent work experience * Fluent English * 7+ years of experience in similar position or related experience * Experience in EH&S and knowledge of related regulations, codes, and guidelines * Excellent communication skills and ability to proactively develop and drive initiatives. * Ability to communicate and demonstrate technical expertise with internal and external customers. * Experience in metal mechanics industry * Desirable experience in machinery safety   **What you’ll receive for the great work you provide:**   * Competitive Salary. * Life & Medical insurance. * Christmas Bonus. * Food Coupons. * Saving Fund.
