As the **EHS Site Lead**, you will serve as the site's Environmental, Health & Safety leader while supporting facility operations to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing environment. In this role, you will partner across functions to strengthen our safety culture, maintain regulatory compliance, and support infrastructure that enables the production of life-changing technologies.
**How You'll Make an Impact**
* Lead the site's Environmental, Health & Safety programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, FDA, EMA, and cGMP requirements.
* Drive a proactive safety culture through risk assessments, incident investigations, corrective actions, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Partner with operations, engineering, quality, and facilities to support safe and reliable manufacturing operations.
* Support facility operations, maintenance planning, and infrastructure projects to ensure uninterrupted site performance.
* Coordinate environmental compliance programs, inspections, audits, and regulatory reporting.
* Manage EHS-related vendors, contractors, and service providers.
* Participate in capital projects and process changes to ensure safety and regulatory requirements are incorporated from project initiation.
* Lead emergency preparedness activities and support the site's emergency response program.
* Support facility-related issues, including participation in an on-call rotation as needed.
**A Day in the Life**
You may be:
* Reviewing EHS metrics and leading site safety initiatives.
* Conducting safety observations, inspections, and risk assessments throughout the facility.
* Partnering with engineering and operations to implement process improvements safely.
* Supporting facility maintenance activities to minimize operational disruptions.
* Preparing for or participating in regulatory and customer audits.
* Delivering EHS training and coaching colleagues on best practices.
**Keys to Success**
**Minimum Education & Experience**
* Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant EHS and/or manufacturing experience, OR 7+ years of relevant EHS and/or manufacturing experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
* Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA/cGMP) is preferred.
**Technical Expertise**
* Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, FDA, EMA, cGMP, and applicable environmental and safety regulations.
* Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, and corrective actions.
* Familiarity with facility systems and manufacturing infrastructure is preferred.
* Experience with EHS management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
**Leadership & Execution**
* Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct supervisory responsibility.
* Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
* Analytical mindset with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
* Ability to build strong partnerships across technical and non-technical teams.
**Additional Requirements**
* Ability to support on-call rotation and occasional off-hours needs.
* Physical ability to perform site inspections and respond to operational issues.
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel between facilities as needed.
