Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** * Design, maintain, and improve plant electrical systems and components. * Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. * Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and contractors to support safe and efficient plant performance. * Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner to reduce downtime. * Provide technical support and training to maintenance staff. **What Are We Looking For** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated capability. * Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, power distribution, instrumentation, switchgear, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). * Experience using engineering and project management tools such as AutoCAD and Microsoft Project is preferred. * Ability to analyze technical issues, establish priorities, and deliver practical solutions in an industrial environment. * Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across functions. * Commitment to workplace safety, regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and operational reliability. **Work Environment** * Work is performed in both office and heavy manufacturing environments, including exposure to electrical equipment, motor control centers (MCCs), power distribution systems, and varying outdoor weather conditions. * Regular exposure to production areas may include moving equipment, elevated work areas, dust, noise, heat, cold, and other outdoor weather conditions. * Personal protective equipment must be worn as required. * The role may require climbing stairs and ladders, walking over uneven surfaces, and responding to occasional operational needs outside standard business hours. * Travel to other company locations, project sites, or vendor facilities may be required. **What We Offer** * Competitive base salary and participation in our annual incentive plan. * 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions. * Highly competitive benefits programs, including: * Medical, Dental, and Vision along with Prescription Drug Benefits * Health Saving Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) * AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability Coverage as well as Basic Life Insurance * Paid Bonding Leave, 15 days of Paid Vacation, 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave and 10 Paid Holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
