Electrical Fitter

About the role ============== Join our team within as an Electrical Fitter in our Laverton North Service Centre. * Repair and maintain LV & HV electrical rotating machinery. * Assemble and disassemble electrical rotating equipment. * Conduct static and dynamic tests on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance. * Rewind electric motors and generators. * Perform balancing on motors to keep things running smoothly. * Keep the goods flowing with timely ordering when required. * Take direction from your Supervisor to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. * When required, attend onsite to conduct effective repairs of electrical rotating equipment. To succeed in this role, you will need: ======================================= * CERT III in Electrotechnology or above / equivalent. * Experience in repairing and rewinding DC motors, medium to High Voltage electrical motors, and generators. * Excellent time management skills to keep things on track. * Strong teamwork skills. * Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
