Eligibility may be subject to the terms and conditions of governing documents and available benefits may be subject to change at the company’s discretion. * Choice of medical plans with prescription coverage * Employer HSA contribution * Dental & Vision Insurance * Paid Parental Leave * Short & Long-Term Disability * Other voluntary benefits including: Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Identity Theft Protection and Pet Insurance * 401K with generous Company match & contribution * Accrued Paid Time Off * 12 Paid Holidays + 1 Floating Holiday * Robust employee wellness program * Tuition assistance program **Job Description:** **Responsibilities:** * _Develop electrical machine / electric motor solutions for electric propulsion systems_ * _Gather requirements via internal customers, market demands, and competitive assessments_ * _Author and release technical specifications_ * _Develop and review product plans and validation plans_ * _Prepare and present technical status reports for a variety of audiences_ * _Perform root cause failure analysis troubleshooting_ * _Identify and develop opportunities for product improvements_ * _Participate in field performance reviews and communicate technical knowledge to field support personnel_ * _Manage multiple programs simultaneously_ **Experience:** Required: * _BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar engineering field_   * _3 years of experience with electrical machine, electric motor, or electric drive product development_ * _Ability to solve problems, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis_ * _Ability to communicate effectively in a cross functional setting_ * _Some Travel_ * Must be a U.S. Person or individual otherwise eligible to be authorized to work with export-controlled items or data \[or perform services on military vehicles\]. _Preferred_ * _5 years of experience with electrical machine, electric motor, or electric drive product development_ * _Experience with electric vehicle integration and operation_ * _Experience with the heavy duty vehicle industry_ * _Experience with accelerated life testing_ * _Demonstrated proficiency in technical project leadership_   Allison Transmission is an equal opportunity employer.
