Electrician

We currently have an opportunity for an **Electrician** at our **Carrington, ND** durum milling and pasta production facility, where we produce Dakota Growers pasta.  **Responsibilities:**  * Provide hands-on electrical support in the areas of process controls, resolving common power system electrical issues, and equipment downtime root cause analysis  * Complete regular preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment according to established schedules and procedures  * Use tools, meters, and technology to troubleshoot facility-specific PLC’s, motors, VFDs, and process/support equipment, in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and regulations  * Assist with the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment by running/connecting wires, construction panels/control boxes, and performing other tasks in accordance with the NEC, North Dakota Electrical Codes, and NFPA 70E  * Proactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities  **Qualifications:**  * High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution  * 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience OR Associate’s Degree or higher in electrical, electro-mechanical, mechatronics, instrumentation or controls in lieu of experience  **Preferred Qualifications:**  * Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens)   * Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and instrumentation  * Experience working with 480V systems  **Physical Requirements:**   Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:  * Lift up to 50 pounds  * Work in hot, humid, cold and crowded manufacturing environment  * Stand, walk, climb, squat, crouch, reach, grasp, push and pull for extended periods  **Schedule:** Tuesday-Saturday **Shift:** 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM **Starting wage:** $31/hr Interested candidates should click the Apply icon to apply online by 11/20/2026.
