**Summary** **Job Description:** **Endoscopy Scope Processing Technician** 40 Hours Weekly, Full Time, Dayshift Join our team and play a vital role in patient safety and exceptional care. We are seeking a detail-oriented **Endoscopy Scope Processing Technician** to ensure endoscopic equipment is properly cleaned, disinfected, sterilized, maintained, and ready for clinical use. **Key Responsibilities:** * Clean, inspect, assemble, test, high-level disinfect, and sterilize endoscopic instruments and equipment according to established protocols and manufacturer guidelines. * Process and maintain a variety of endoscopes and specialty equipment, including GI, pulmonary, ERCP/EUS, ION, and related instruments. * Perform leak testing and verify proper function of scopes and patient care equipment. * Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of equipment, maintenance records, and patient-related data within electronic systems. * Monitor scope processing, drying, and storage areas to ensure compliance with infection prevention and regulatory standards. * Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked to support efficient daily operations. * Immediately report equipment concerns, safety issues, or processing discrepancies to leadership. * Participate in department meetings, annual competencies, and ongoing education. * Assist with onboarding and training new team members as needed. **What We're Looking For:** * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Ability to follow infection prevention and sterilization standards. * Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. * Experience in endoscopy reprocessing, sterile processing, or healthcare equipment handling preferred. **Apply today and help ensure safe, high-quality care for every patient.** ****Requirements:**** High School diploma or equivalent preferred Must obtain SGNA within 2 years HSPA/Certified Endoscope Reprocessor certification within 2 years ### _If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!_ ### Baptist Health is an _Equal Employment Opportunity_ employer.
