Engineer - Plant Layout & Piping

******Job Description Summary****** =================================== Candidate’s requirments: \- Well versed with Piping & Layout and their relevant codes and standards in Plant Engineering. Preferably in Hydro Power Plant Engineering \- Very good understanding of basic design and detail design of Piping & Layout activities. \- Hands on working knowledge in E3D, ACAD tools and Navisworks \- Allotted work to be performed in defined schedule and budgeted manhours. \- Knowledge of multi-disciplinary design workflows and understanding of 3D co-ordination process. \- Functional reporting to your Layout COE leader and operationally to the System Integrator \- EHS: - Implementation EHS policy & procedures during design aspect. \- Should have good knowledge of equipment Loads/foundation civil requirements, equipment handling requirement. \- Candidate having Basic knowledge of civil structural design (beam/column/slab/steel structure) which will be an added advantage. \- Candidate should have minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in Powerplant Layouts. Preferred Hydro Powerplant. \- Academics: B.E. Mechanical engineer /Diploma In mechanical Engineering, **Job Description** =================== **Job Responsibilities** * Expert on E3D & AutoCAD software for various type of hydro power plant networks routing (Piping/HVAC ducting/ Cable and Cable-tray) modelling. * Generate clash check report & resolve if any interference found using Navisworks. * Responsible for General arrangement drawings, isometrics and BOM for piping & pipe supports in E3D/Revit. Generate Powerhouse Overall Equipment Arrangement Layout drawing in Revit. * Should review and comment on the customer civil drawings, Equipment GA drawings and other consortium’s network drawings and streamline the Layout interface and requirements. * Should proactively interact with other department for various inputs/interface requirement & keep the record.
