### **Engineering Chargehand – Speke Depot** **£25.51 per hour** | **39 hours per week** | **Permanent, Full-Time** Join our engineering team at **Arriva Speke** and play a key role in keeping our fleet running safely and efficiently. If you're a skilled and motivated engineer with a passion for high standards and reliable service, we want to hear from you. ### **What we offer:** * **£25.51 per hour** * **Overtime** * **Full-time, permanent contract (39 hours per week)** * **5 shifts over 7 days** * **Free bus travel** for you and a nominated family member living at the same address * **Full training provided** – including PCV licence training if required * **25 days annual leave** * **Access to Arriva Village** – exclusive retail and leisure discounts * **Workplace pension scheme** * **Opportunities for development and progression** ### **What you’ll be doing:** * Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs to DVSA and Arriva standards * Performing diagnostic checks and fault finding to ensure vehicle reliability * Supporting MOT prep, quality checks, and preventative maintenance * Working to continuously improve vehicle performance and uptime ### **What we’re looking for:** * **Level 3 NVQ / IRTEC** qualification (or equivalent) * Experience in **PSV** or **HGV** maintenance * Good understanding of **Health & Safety procedures** * **Full UK driving licence** (max 6 points) * Ability to pass a **PCV pre-employment medical** Desirable (but not essential): * Experience inspecting vehicles for scheduled maintenance * Knowledge of electrical circuits and systems ### **Why Arriva?** At Arriva, we’re committed to a greener future and delivering safe, sustainable and dependable transport for our communities.
