Job Summary ----------- **Summary:** To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an _**Equipment Maintenance Senior Manager**_ located in _**Prai, Penang**_. Directs activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements **What a typical day looks like:** * Directs daily department activities to maximize equipment utilization and support production needs. * Establishes preventative maintenance schedules. * Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests. * Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and workforce resource requirements. * Coordinates maintenance activities with other functional groups such as engineering and operations. Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the departmental function. * Administer safety programs to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees. * Generates maintenance logs and other operations metrics. * Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic people and/or process management skills. * Demonstrates advanced/ thorough knowledge of the function and Flex business. * Impacts the immediate operations of the team or the functional area. * Assists in achieving section/sub-function objectives for a functional area. * May lead a major initiative that may impact multiple sites/customers. * Executes and provide input to functional processes. * Enhances functional processes. Executes function strategic plans and objectives. * Makes decisions for the function. Decisions may affect site. * Demonstrates skills in performance management, teaching/leading, counselling and/or mentoring. Models' appropriate behavior in support of Flex values. **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * Requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
