Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You’ll Be Doing** * Lead and support daily operational engineering activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant performance * Analyze processes, equipment, and production data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization * Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and safety teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives * Support project planning and execution, including upgrades, modifications, and capital improvements * Ensure engineering practices align with operational, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards **What Are We Looking For** * Demonstrated capability in operational or industrial engineering within heavy manufacturing or industrial environments * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and translate insights into action * Ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams and operational levels * Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement * Proficiency with engineering tools, systems, and technical documentation **Conditions of Employment** * Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check * Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing * Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
